Katmandu

We are in Katmandu it is in incredible city. It reminds me a lot of Arusha. We are making the last minute arrangements for the trek. There are all kinds of trekking stores here that sell nice gear for dirt cheap. It is interesting to be back in the world of bartering for everything you buy. Our plane leaves tomorrow at 7am, for Lukla, where we will begin our hike. We are staying in a hotel called the Tibet Guest House, it is full of budget trekkers like ourselves. I have not taken many photos of Katmandu yet, but I am going to try and post some photos of Hong Kong.

This is the first time I have been able to email. We made it here to the YWAM base last night. It is a very nice base, but it is really hot and humid here. We spent the day in the main part of the city walking around and exploring. It is unbelievable how tall some of the buildings are in the city.
